Just a few days to the MTN CHAMPS in Jos, the Plateau state capital, over 1450 Athletes across four age categories have registered for the four-day meet which kicks off on Tuesday, April 23 to 26 at the New Jos Stadium.

The athletes will jostle for honours in 3505 events across 69 Secondary Schools and 84 Junior/Senior Teams as the turnout raised the stakes for MTN CHAMPS Jos, which is the third leg for Season 2, following the first and second legs held in Asaba and Ibadan respectively. This is coming on the heels of the all-important Grand Final in Calabar from April 30 to May 3.
The tournament sponsored by MTN Nigeria Limited is organised by Making of Champions (MoC) with technical support from the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) and endorsed by the Nigeria School Sport Federation (NSSF).

According to the organisers, all registered schools/athletes are expected to pick their competition bibs to confirm their participation no later than Monday, April 22, at the competition venue to remain on their event startlists.
