Less than a month to the 2025 FIBA AfroBasket Qualifiers in Tunisia and Egypt, Nigeria’s D’Tigers is yet to name its squad for the tournament scheduled to hold from February 23 to 25.

Nigeria is among the teams in Group B heading to Tunisia while others in the group include Cape Verde, Uganda and the winner of Africa Zone 1 qualifiers, which comprise Algeria, Libya and Morocco.
Already, Cote d’Ivoire, Kenya and host – Tunisia have named their squads for the qualifiers and as the clock is ticking fast until the start of the 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers, and to make sure things go according to plan, teams pre-selected players to help them make it to next year’s African Championship.

The first window of the AfroBasket Qualifiers is scheduled to run between February (23-25) in the African cities of Nabeul (Tunisia) and Cairo (Egypt), where 12 of the 20 national teams will launch their artillery to reach the coveted quadrennial AfroBasket.
