Nigeria will be competing for placement at the ongoing 26th Africa Men Handball Cup of Nations in Egypt after beating Kenya 32-23 in their last group match of the continental championships.

The team had lost to Angola and Tunisia to be out of contention for medals and the Golden Arrows tutored by Coach Rafiu Salami will now be slugging it out for a good placement after dominating Kenya in their last group match of the competition.

For the placement match, Nigeria will face Congo DRC on Tuesday, January 23.
