Nigeria’s Golden Arrows are now on the verge of exiting the ongoing Africa Men Handball Nations Cup in Egypt after they lost their second group match to Tunisia 36-19 on match day 2 of the continental championships on Friday, January 19.

The Coach Rafiu Salami-tutored side could not contain the pace of the 10-time African champion from the start of the match but managed to claw back a bit as they lost the first half 18-10.

In the second half, the Tunisian continued their dominance scoring effortlessly as the Nigerian side struggled with turnovers and then losing the match as North African scored the last goal through a seven meters penalty to make it 36-19.

Nigeria will be playing for pride when they tackle Kenya in their last group match on Sunday January 21.
