In a statement released by the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) Media Assistant, Cosmos Chukwuemeka Akisi, the Coach Rafiu Salami-tutored side will be its 15th appearance at the continental showpiece after a 16-man list was released by the coach.
The Nigeria Handball Men National Team nicknamed “The Golden Arrows” ended their camping in Abuja and departed Nigeria on Monday January 15 to Egypt.

The selected team is a mixture of youthfulness and experience as players like Farouk Yusuf, who plies his trade with Franklin BM Granollers of Spain; Ibrahim Dikko and Gbenga Cole led the team.
An optimist Salami believes with the set of players Nigeria will do well as they take on Angola, Kenya and 10-time champion Tunisia in group D.
